Travelling, between passion and work
A few days after the opening of the Christmas period in Castelsaraceno, we had the pleasure of hosting Manuela Vitulli, a well-known travel blogger from Puglia. A wonderful meeting that allowed us to introduce the beauties of the country between the two parks to a girl who has made travel her profession.
Manuela has long since decided to put into words the emotions and experiences she experiences during her travels. Always curious about the world and a lover of sharing, she opened her blog Pensieri in Viaggio in 2013 and regularly writes articles about the beauty she has admired in her homeland, Puglia, and in her travels in Italy and abroad.

Adrenalin rush on the world’s longest Tibetan bridge
Manuela’s day was the perfect synthesis of Castelsaraceno: a mixture of culture, peace and adrenaline. In fact, she couldn’t miss a visit to the world’s longest Tibetan bridge, which she crossed with a hint of excitement and that feeling of immensity that can be experienced when looking out over the endless valley at her feet.
A unique experience that, despite the cold (manageable by Manuela’s own admission), offers unforgettable emotions, especially for lovers of heights. In fact, the safety measures and management of the bridge itself make it passable by anyone and therefore suitable for even the most adventurous families.

Culture and traditions between the Nativity Exhibition and the Museum of Shepherding
Manuela then continued her tour of Castelsaraceno, visiting the alleys of the village, from the main square, which is dressed up for the Christmas season, to the markets that populate the Paese dei due Parchi, attracting the attention of visitors. Our travel blogger then moved on to the Chiesa Madre, which is currently hosting the Mostra dei Presepi, an exhibition of artistic representations of absolute value organised by the Associazione Italiana Amici del Presepio di Maratea. The visit continued at the Museum of Shepherding, the cradle of ancient memories and customs.
Among the many experiences she has had, it is the people of Castellana who have captured Manuela’s heart with their hospitality and great sense of community. True and sincere values that transpire from the eyes and words of the inhabitants met on the street and in the many taverns and B&Bs that animate the town.

Hospitality, cohesion and sense of community in Castelsaraceno
“Rarely have I come across a community that is so close-knit and united for the good of its country”. It is from these words, spoken by our brand ambassador, that we take strength to continue with determination in our project to help you discover Castelsaraceno not just as a simple tourist attraction but as a place of the heart, to be lived in harmony to rediscover yourself and spend a happy and carefree day with your friends and family.
We are waiting for you with open arms!
